Â鶹ͷÌõ Women’s Cross Country Finish Sixth at NCAA Championships

The Â鶹ͷÌõ women's cross country team concluded its season with a strong showing at the NCAA DII Championships as the Flyers finished in sixth place with 255 team points. This marks the highest the women's team has finished since 1997.

"The commitment these women made to one another this fall has left me simply humbled and forever proud of what they did today and all fall," Head Coach  said. "22 seconds between our number 1 and number 5 runner is one of the best spreads of the entire country and something we take a great deal of pride in. The legacy our seniors have left behind is something that I cannot appreciate enough and will impact future teams for a very long time."

´³³Ü²Ô¾±´Ç°ù  (Lockport, Ill./Lockport) was the top finisher for Â鶹ͷÌõ after picking up a 43rd place finish in the 6K race after crossing the finish line at 21:32. Graduate Student  (Wheaton, IL/West Chicago) was the next runner to cross the finish line for the Flyers after finishing in 49th place with a time of 21:36.

Graduate Student  (Elmhurst, Ill./Grand Valley State) was right behind Pacer-Ryan with her time of 21:37 which landed her in 50th place.  (Lockport, Ill./Lockport Township) was able to cross the finish line with her 64th place finish and with a time 21:46. 

 (Corry, Penn./Seton Hill) finished in 77th place after crossing the finish line at 21:54. Graduate student  (Lockport, Ill./Lockport Township) recorded a time of 22:24 which landed her in 129th place overall.

´³³Ü²Ô¾±´Ç°ù  (Frankfort, Ill./Lincolnway East) rounded out the Â鶹ͷÌõ runners after recording a time of 22:28 which made her finish in 134th place.
